Inventory & Purchasing · International Analysis

I manage inventory and purchasing at a Canadian manufacturer of luxury brass faucets in the Greater Toronto Area, where I have worked since 2016. My day is suppliers, reorder points, tariff classification and keeping engineering and production data in line. Right now I am leading my department’s part of an ERP migration to Odoo.

Since 2004 I have also worked as an international analyst for Latin American media, including NTN24. I hold a master’s degree in international relations, taught at Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas, and have published several books.

The two careers meet in trade: how goods, tariffs and supply chains move between Canada and Latin America. That is the subject I write about and want to work on.
